Re: Portable Ecere SDK

Awesome! I'll be looking forward to it! I've recently discovered the joy of being able to take my code with me to any computer around using Dev-C++... But you know I love eC so do it with eC would be optimum! I don't personally use any of the portable "platforms" for my Dev-C++, just run i...

Re: Ecere SDK 0.44 "Ryoan-ji"

This is rockin' awesome! It's so nice to see it's finally here!

I'll have to check all this out later when i'm not on my phone...

Rockin' Guys!

Re: Bindings for Voce library

So does this need to get compiled as library? Or is this just a file that gets imported into the project?

Bindings for Voce library

I've found a library for Voice Synthesis and Voice Recognition called Voce. Unfortunately, the library is written natively in Java(yeuch!), however it does have wrappers for C++(Yay!) I'd like to be able to use this library in eC instead, (cuz eC rocks!), and was wondering how exactly do I go about ...

Re: Debian/Ubuntu packages available for Ecere 0.44pre1

Further information on the ppa package: When you apt-get install ecere-sdk you get the whole kitten kaboodle... ecere-doc, ecere-samples, ecere-sdk, and libecere... however when you apt-get remove ecere-sdk you only remove ecere-sdk, and not the other 3. So to remove then you have remove the others ...

Re: Debian/Ubuntu packages available for Ecere 0.44pre1

Oh yeah, and there seems to be a bug now(not entirely sure if it's related) in that the buttons, such as the max/min/close buttons on a window do not display their pictures. Text buttons still display their contents however. Some buttons will display a garbled graphic when the mouse cursor is passed...
